Top 10 Free GRE Test Preparation Online Resources

As a Student, preparing for standardized exams like GRE, GMAT, LSAT, SAT, MCAT etc.,  you know how hard sometime it is to manage your time between preparing for exams and shuffling between princeton, arco, GRE bible software, textooks, and thus figuring out the best resource to help you in your preparation.

In our first post, we have decided to come up with a list of some top online resources for GRE. Most of them provide free material and allows you practice for free.

We have tried to describe each online resource at our best. Before going ahead, please know that we are trying to facilitate you (students) with this list and we are not advocating or promoting these resource or whatsoever.

Some of you might might be aware of more better resources available online. If that is the case, you are encouraged to post that resource here under the post as your comment and help out your colleagues. Does that sounds like an idea?

    A site focused on providing a more open and relaxed format of test preparation allowing students to help themselves. This site provides you with a set of questions and answers of the same at the end for the subjects such as Analogies Part 1, Analogies Part 2, Basic Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Averages and Rounding and more.. Yes, it is free.
  • Syvum.com
    This site helps you in GRE Preparation through online interactive material covering verbal, analytical writing and quantitative ability sections. Free.
  • PhysicsGRE.com
    This is a forum dedicated to the GRE subject test – Physics. The access to existing questions and the replies is open. To post your question, comment or discuss any physics question, you will need to sign up and create your account. Free!
  • Number2.com
    Number2 is here to take you to Number 1 by providing you a free practice platform where your coach could accompany you to monitor, guide and instruct in your GRE Preparation. The tutorials are adjustable according to your skill level.
  • ETS.org
    This is an official source from the creators and administrators of GRE. Educational Testing Service provides you with an authentic free GRE Test preparation material. In spite of claim by ETS that the content of GRE is “un-coachable” [Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduate_Record_Examination] they also have some GRE test preparation material to offer with a modes price!
  • Wtamu.edu
    As the site says, if you need help in preparing for the Math part of GRE General test, this is the place you need to check out for sure. It’s a plain Test preparation help site. Don’t get disappointed if you do not find the practice tests. Free!
  • English-test.net
    As the name suggests, they have plenty of English tests only, for GRE preparation. The tests are free and open for all. No need for registration.  You will find Word Vocabulary Games, Verbal preparation, Vocab exercises, quizzes, Vocabulary Building exercises etc. You could also access the GRE Forum by English-test.net by clicking here.
  • Greguide.com
    This again provides you with a set of interactive time bound tests for GRE Reading Comprehension, GRE Sentence Completion, Gre Analogies, GRE Math Problem Solving, and GRE Math Comparison. They should have made it more readable. Otherwise, the site have done a great job by allowing one to take the test, review your answers both correct and incorrect. YOu can also have a view to the questions where you have taken more time to answer.

The best way is using memory techniques first break the word in any language and made a stupid story relating tat and imagine tat story in ur mind 4 atleast 5 sec n u will remember it inshallah .ex: facetious=face+tea= on ur face tea is der n some one is looking n dey feel tats HUMOROUS ….. therefore Facetious=Humorous.
